Control

Why is control important? Most people control themselves on a daily bases but what if we did not. There would be mayhem. If I had no control, I would have killed several people throughout my life; including myself. However I’m not on death row, and I’m still breathing as I type this.
“And that’s a blessing, because he could have killed me from there!”

-Bizzy Bone

Sometimes as human beings we control ourselves too much though. And this need for supreme control can lead to uncontrollable outbursts. People have tried to control Charles Manson for years, well Charles Manson is in his own world and he cannot be controlled. Charles Manson has been so suppressed throughout his life that he only moves up. Prison is his mother and he is comfortable with living inside jail, he doesn’t care about parole, or the way people see him. For those of you in the dark about Manson here is the basis of my understanding, Charles Manson was in system since he was a child. He had been in jail for 20 years before he was involved in a cult. He was the leader of this cult; however he says that these people were just his friends. While he was in the group, he influenced people and his followers committed 9 grisly murders in the Hollywood area. They say he made them do it.

I feel as though these people were weak minded individuals. Society needs someone to blame other than themselves. Society failed Manson when his mom left him behind and his father never cared to stick around. Society failed those young adults when they were in the streets vulnerable with no love. Just because someone tells you to go kill someone doesn’t mean they are responsible. Society tries to make Manson responsible for controlling those people, but is that fair?

Control. Control is powerful because once someone can control emotions and feelings, that person can become more controlling of their consciousness and maybe their subconscious can be controlled. Control leads to different levels of loves, different levels of hate. A controlled car on the road is much more effective than one that is spinning out at every turn, speeding down off ramps going the wrong way. The car that’s in control will make it to the destination, while the car that’s going crazy will most likely crash.

  • Every time you feel a negative emotion, try to think about why you feel that way. However, control yourself. Don’t get stuck in that emotion by going too deep.

  • Think about how you have blessings in your life.

  • Release this negative emotion. You are not sad, you just FEEL sad.

  • Realize that you are everything, and everything is you. When you get angry or sad, realize that you are those exact things that made you feel that way.

  • Even if you have trouble, keep working at it “He could have killed you from there”, so don’t dwell on the past. You’re in the present for a reason.

I love you,
